| Many today are ripping out
carpeting of older homes and finding beautiful
antique floors underneath. Unfortunately in
some cases ugly looking discolored blotches are
all over the place. The first response, if they
weren't blasted by the whiff of animal urine, is
"how can we get this floor to look new again?"
You
will get several solutions form many. But
the most effective way to make the older floor
look normal or consistent again is to remove
flooring from other areas of the home. In the case
of the image to the left, that project would
probably not be worthwhile. However if you have a
few small areas, taking from other rooms could be
a viable solution.
Take from other rooms? I
don't understand? What we're trying to say is
removing, very carefully, floorboards from another
room and reinstall in the room in question after
those pieces are removed. |
