In order to do the repair, they cut out the floor boards, re-prepped the plywood floor below and glued in new boards because they had to cut out the tongue & groove
in order to do the repair. The wood is from the same batch, however it looks different when the natural light hits it. This is what I meant by laying them going the wrong direction.
