Gary Clontz began his career in flooring over 27 years ago. Starting as an apprentice, he quickly learned the craft of installing and finishing wood floors and soon became the shop foreman, overseeing as many as ten workers on larger commercial installations. In his career, he has worked with most all types of wood floors, from victorian inspired parquetry to simple, rough hewn plank flooring.

Gary has been an independent flooring contractor for the last thirteen years and is licensed by the Contractors License Board of the State of California. He has also been a member of the National Wood Flooring Association(NWFA) and attended a variety of their seminars and classes. Today, he works primarily on custom homes and remodels installing, refinishing and repairing wood flooring. He is also available for consultation and inspections.
