 Ray Darrah began his flooring
career working alongside his parents at the family
paint and linoleum store beginning at the age of
seven years old. Ray worked with his parents,
attended college, and continued to grow with the
industry by representing manufacturers as a sales
representative, installation contractor, and
retail store owner.
In 1989, after selling the
retail store, he began a new career as a certified
flooring inspector, with over 40 years of flooring
experience. Currently, he is a full time flooring
inspector in Florida; Certified to Inspect
Hardwood, Carpet, Ceramic Tile, Stone Flooring,
Laminate, Cork Tile and Resilient Flooring. He is
a member of the NWFA, IICRC, FCITS, CFI, NICFI,
ICR, WFCA and working in the National Oak Flooring
Manufacturers Association Inspectors Program.Ray
is also the Technical Service Advisor to the
National Inspection Service, QuestInspect.com.
