Take the replacement planks and lay them out in the sun. You'll be amaized how quickly Braz. Hardwood will darken.

Let the boards sit in the sun for about 3 afternoons until evening. Then bring them in and let them acclimate for a couple of days.

Yup, board replacement for this small area is the best way to go, either with "pre-aged" boards, or let it happen naturally if you don't mind a temporary difference in the look. If you want to speed it up, take your replacement boards to your tanning salon for a session in the booth.
