hi everybody im a small home improvements owner, i have a request from a customer from a church to install oak in it .

the request come with this

estimate price to install 270 sq ft of accents strips in the hallway 2 1/4 or 5 1/12 planks

can somebody explains this to me i got the accents strips is only a strip to divide one material from another like concrete from wood something like that maybe and wrong thank you

Accent strips, or feature strips, are sold by the lineal foot instead of the square foot. Usually this is used to hi light the room's shape or to emphasize certain areas. It is T&G and usually a more expensive wood, so not quite as wide as the flooring. It will make a design that will last as long as the floor. An inexpensive method would be to paint the floor after a seal coat using a game line taping machine, then paint whatever color you want. Protect the design with clear finish.
