we had our hardwood flooring acclimating for several weeks. On the first day of install our air condition broke. It is in the 90s and humid. Should we wait until the air conditioner is fixed and reacclimate the wood before we continue to install?

It will be OK to install after it gets fixed. Run the AC for a couple of days for each day it was off, unless it takes more than a week to get service. You would be better to start over after a week of not having climate control this time of year.

Ideally, hardwood flooring should be acclimated to the midpoint of the annual range for your geographical location. That way the flooring won't expand too much when the humidity is at the high point of the annual range and won't shrink too much when the humidity is at the low point of the annual range.
When the flooring is at the midpoint then it's ok to install.
