Helo there!

The people who installed my hardwood floors left a lot of adhesive residue on a large amount of the boards, would you please tell me how I can get rid of this noticeble mass!!, so far I tried mineral oils, TPS, and goof off remover...nothing seems to work!!

The hardwood floor is red Kempas, how can I look after its longetivity?

Thanks for the advise.

Sand and refinish at the installers cost!!!

If it has been longer then 24 hours, the urethane glue may have etched into the finish.

Take a straight razor blade and lightly scrap the areas, use mineral sprints to lubricate the blade and be careful, as well a fine grade steel wool and mineral sprits will remove the hard to remove residue. Be careful and test it in a hidden area first to make sure it is not marring the wood. If that does not work then you will have to sand and refinish to remove them.
