Has anyone had any recent experiences with either of these products?

I was interested in Award from positive mentions on older threads on this forum, but my local dealers seem clueless about them (not a huge surprise) and the local dealers shown on the Award site as carrying the Award products are either out of business or no longer carry the line. It looks like a great product (solid sawn, 1/2 thick), but I want to be sure that the Award spoken so highly of a couple of years ago is still a good product.

Also, any experiences with the Kahrs' Spirit (11mm) line?
