 Post subject: bad fisheye

my friend in so cal called me today and told me that he was going to buff and coat a floor for a lady and it was a pre finished floor so he had to use that material from bona that softens the oxide coating on it. but the lady didnt tell him she had been using a oil base cleaner to clean her floor with and he recoated with traffic and it seperated bad on him.anyone else have this experience before.

Sure. If you do enough recoats, you're bound to have a couple go "south" on you due to contamination. I always quiz the owners about how they have been maintaining the floors before I'll decide if they can be recoated.
