Hello -

I'm new to this board and the HW floor world in general and need some advice.

I had contractors install Bamboo engineered floors in my house glued to a concrete subfloor. It's been a month and I've been noticing popping sounds in several parts of the house.

What are the best ways to fix this? I had the contractor come back and he ended up nailing a few of the planks and now they look unsightly. So, I'm giving up on this guy and need to find a better solution.

Am I going to need to replace the planks or can an injectable adhesive solution work for Bamboo?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Don't tell me he was using sprigs to fasten down the bamboo hollow spots to the concrete? That's a liability waiting to happen, when you cut your foot.

This hacks name wasn't Garry Bitner was it? Sounds just like his style.
