I nailed down this same wood over my second story a few years ago so have that and tile experience. I have purchased verticle Cali Bamboo for glue down of 143sq ft. (over 17 year old Florida home) concrete slab with concrete paint over it, with some carpet adhesive. Presume moisture shouldn't be an issue. Purchased 3.5gal of Bostik SingleApp recommended by Lowe's and now find it will cover 120sq ft.
I'm thinking of returning the Bostik adhesive ($160) because to have enough for this job I have to spend another $160 to cover the additional 23sq ft. (I can't find a 1gal can of this stuff) Are there other ways to have the moisture protection and adhesion for under $200? Titebond is recommended by Cali but locating that or so much as getting a price quote is difficult.
The paint is in excellent condition; well adhered. Do I still have to remove it or score it for installation of adhesive?
