Heres one I did up in Portland, new house..

verticle grain 3 inch timbergrass bamboo, with 4 inch clear purple and some peruvian feature strip. It was fun, log cabin boarder, till it came time to coat. The bamboo is not friendly. 3 coats acid curing synteco, 2 coats infinity water base semigloss.

I love that color combination! The walnut highlights and adds some real "punch" to the feature strip border. 5 coats? Whoa, I only do that in my house! :lol:
