I saw this 3/4" maple x 3.25", prefinished, microbeveled edges, with bubbled finished in the darker grained areas. What is the cause for this? Does a higher petina content in the grains cause this bubbling? There is virtually no cupping, and no buckling present in this area. Floor is 11% mc. About 20% of the floor contains this condition.[img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]

Hi Clayton:

Nice to see you around. What's it been--six years since the old floorsearch.com message board? Please stick around and offer your expertise!

Here's your pic...

Questions:
1. Engineered product?
2. problems isolated to dark colored/filled areas?
Thank you,
Ray
