Installing 3/4 hickory 5"wide over sound OSB. Several installers have said not to use the PL or Locktite poly adhesives and go with Bostik's Best or the Bona R850T.

Has anyone used either and make a recommendation? I live in SW Colorado. Typical moisture levels for us are 5 to 15%. My floor is currently at 5% and wood within 1% of that.

Thanks for any help

Yeah PL is only for things you don't want to move - transition strips, thresholds, etc. The wood floor needs to expand and contract so you need an adhesive that has some play. I've used the Bona R850T many times and it is a solid product - the silicone in it give it the flex to allow for proper expansion and contraction. It is water based for easy clean up too. I'm also a fan of the Mapei polyurethane, though that may be a Canadian thing.
