I don't get it. Can someone explain a little better? I get mail from Stephen Heffernan then a reply from Sean Hefferman--and two different company names. You guys went your own way? Anyway some pics...

Dell. Braz cherry is become very popular and everybody has seen it and knows what it looks like. I am not a huge fan of the redness of brazilian cherry. In the next few monthes I am about to install some hardwood in my own home and I will use Brazilian teak. There are a number of reasons I chose this species. First of is the color. The picture above is not a great representation of cumaru. it has a lot more variation than you normally see, it varies from a medium golden color to a beautiful rich chocalate brown. It is also harder than braz cherry. Its a neutral color and goes with any style furniture. Braz cherry is considered somewhat mor formal and with the reddish color your tied to certain color pallets.

I will e-mail you some more pics when I can

I love the reddish tint in brazilian and santos. To me, three's way too much color variation in teak.

I think that was a Lumber Liquidator product. Try Jeff Hosking at the link below.

Cumaru is also known as Brazilian Teak
