We are implementing a new rule for signatures. You must be given permission to be allowed to use signatures by emailing hf@hardwoodflooringtalk.com, pm me or leave a post here. Only those contributing to this site or at the judgment of an administrator while have this permission. I have changed the members that I believe fall into this group but if you think I have missed you, let me know.

Hi Keith, Just wondering if I am able to attach a signature? I feel that I am fairly active on this site and I contribute my help and advise when I am able to. Thanks

It changed with the new rule and new posts would not have had the signature.

Greetings from Toronto. After a 6 month leave of absence I am now back on the job. I hope to be able to catch up on all the interesting things going on in our industry, and in this forum.

Hi Dennis:

Glad to have you back, not that I have spent much time on the board over the last few months.

You're participation is valued, along with others that have been spending more time with us.

What do I have to do to have my signature included in my posts?

Sorry I missed these comments in the past. I wish I could figure it out..only Keith (Walkonus) can. Some folks just want to get a website link, others are legitimate. Maybe I'll rack my brain for a few hours and try to get it taken care of, but sigs are for folks that sincerely plan to stay around and help the general public. Yea, that means assisting DIY'ers.

Our administration panel is strictly for major geeks, which I am not. There's a lot I wish I could do with this board but it's always been way over my head (design and such). Keith, by the way is our savior. Thanks bud!! He volunteered to help when we had massive spam problems years back.

Incidentally we've been around since 2004...Time flies eh?

I think I found the gizmo to handle the sigs...only 10 minutes. But I get an error? Keith?

General Error
Module not accessible

I can change permissions anytime you like Ken, but I have refused users with more posts.

Okay I see where it is now. Anyone want to submit/resubmit a request? We prefer guys that have a genuine interest in helping others and that includes diy'ers. Ones that can clearly express their views (spelling and grammar not that important, but using Firefox can help substantially) without short ten word sentences. Another preference is guys that have been on board for awhile, or those that have put together the effort in Bill Price's forum without the sniffles. I can think of a good number. I think you can sort out the rest.

Oh, and we don't allow outright promotion of products or services. There's no fine line but most can figure it out. People will come to your door without it but it takes time and patience.

Hello Keith,

I wonder if I could include our website on the signature. Our site in related to this forum and I think it could help other members. Also, I'll be very responsible in using the signature and I'll be a good member on this community.

Thanks
