Dont think I have this one in here!.

This was my first glue down using Taylor 2071 adhesive..I cleaned this entire job (1700 ft) in something like 15 minutes!..Taylor rocks.

I like the absolute black granite strips, we used these in all the doorways.Image

Too bad they cheapened the product since that installation? I've also heard of telegraphing complaints.

Thanks Gary!.

Ken,
your right on the money. I noticed with the cherry and santos that in the right light the large relief cuts telegraph through the wear layer. I was really annoyed when I first noticed this. I thought it might settle down after a day or two but it seemed to stick around. lucky enough it hasn't been bad enough to prevent me from getting paid at the end of the job.

Not familiar with city plank. What/who makes it? Is it a sawn face, 3 ply, 5 ply?? I , too, like the Taylor adhesive.

Sean and Ken,
I see those relief cuts in the second (middle) photo right where the sunlight is reflecting off the floor. What's up with that? Is it because the veneer is too thin? Too close to the surface? The cuts too deep? I remember seeing those on the old 2-ply Hartco Pattern Plus. It wasn't on every floor but only on some. It was odd.
