I am installing 3/4" hard wood flooring and using my favorite tool the Porta-Nails 401 ratcheting manual nailer. I've been using this nailer for a long time and love it.

My issue is that can no long find T-cleats, as of last month everyone is out of stock.

I am in a middle of a job, and I need T cleats to finish the job. Does anyone know if I can use the L cleats with the Porta-Nails 401 nailer? I've contacted Porta-Nails and they are of no use, as this tools is discontinued.

What is up with the T-cleats shortage? Hitachi and Freeman were also selling them, but no longer available.

Are T-cleats gone the way of the dinosaurs, so I have to buy a new L-cleat nailer?

Thank you for your time, any info would be appreciated.

Have you tried Lumber Liquidators? I think they sell them.
