I'm continuing with my floating floor installation over concrete, and I just realized that I don't know what to do with the small little track at the bottom of the closet door, that is attached to the concrete, which keeps the sliding closet doors from swaying in and out. It's only about 2 inches in length.

Should I remove it and attach it to the floating floor? If so, do I use short screws and ensure I don't attach it to the concrete ( to keep the floor floating)

Or should I keep it where it is, elevate it with some shims, and cut the flooring around it (hate this idea)?

Thanks,
Gino.

If it is one of those small plastic guides, I'd remove it, install the floor, then reinstall the guide with SHORT screws that will not go all the way through the wood flooring.
