Live in a condo and need to replace old carpeting. Flooring we removed
was an old tile and now we have concrete as the subflooring. Is it
better to go with carpeting again vs bamboo or hardwood. Float vs
nail down. Would appreciate any pearls of wisdom.

Too many options to describe. Try our page on high rise condos for a quick start. Carpet? You've come to the wrong place to discuss that, although I prefer carpeting in bedrooms.
