I want to darken a piece of prefinished Brazillian Cherry as quickly and deeply as possible without sanding and starting over. Is there anything I can do beyond leaving it out in the sun to expedite and enhance the process?

Thanks,
Don

heres a dumb idea... Since the sun isn't real stong, and maybe not fast enough, and since it's UV light that darkens it, maybe you could rent it some time in a tanning booth, or put under a strong UV light source. Pretty lame. but its all I got..

Hmmm. sounds like a good excuse to go to Jamaica for a week so I can lay my board out in stronger sunlight. I wonder if the feds would let me bring in on the plane and back through customs :)

I guess I could just rig up a big metal halide and cook it like that. I think that has UV. But then again, a girl who works for my wife owns a tanning salon. Maybe I'll just send it over to her and have her keep it in a booth for a while.

Thanks for the ideas SK.
