I looking at Bruce 3/4 hardwood from home depot. It looks like we will be going with the 2 1/4 Maple Cinnamon for a small bedroom to start out. Can someone give their opinions on the diffences between "10 yr" warranty version and the "25 yr" one?...other than the length.. is the lenght of the warranty the only difference or is there a difference in quality
.
Thanks in advance!

HD should be able to advise you about warranties, on the products they sell...

So what IS a warranty on 3/4" hardwood flooring? Why 10 years, 25 years, lifetime? What does that mean?

A ten year warranty was common prior to the 90's. Then it went to 25 and fifty. I've been updating an article on warranties over the years because it's been an upward moving target. So much that the article needs updating again, but the principle is there.
