I’ve got new 6” select grade white oak floors installed. My contractor did bona sealer and 3 finishes of the bona traffic hd. My dog had a few too many accidents and after every single of them, I am left with orange, red or yellow poop stains that will not come off. Most of these accident sat for too long and dried up, but one or two I caught it before it dried, yet it still left a stain.

I haven’t heard of anyone else having the same issues with water based bona.

Do you think the contractor didn’t apply it correctly or the product was bad?

Did the applicator use the hardener?

I’m not sure, I wasn’t home when the contractor did it. All I know is he did 1 cost of sealant with 3 coats of finish. I’ve called Bona and they said that is more than what the standard is. What is the hardener?

It is a 2 part system. One part is the hardener.
