Hi all, I just purchased a new house and there is hardwood floor on the first floor. A relative of mine who was trying to help used "orange glo hardwood floor refinisher" on the floor and now it is dull and unattractive. Any ideas how to restore the floor to the orignal out of the box look?

Orange Glo... LOL!!!!

What a waste of money!! Now you have 4 times as much work, restoring it.

I think Bona has a stripper/cleaner.

Come on Perry, let's be a little more gentle. Yes. Bona Kemi offers something that will help.

Well that orange glo stuff you joke about is manufactured by bona kemi. I's called refresher in their line. IT's a real, real low soilids acylic urathane. It's mearley a bandaid type fix that will shine your floors up for a couple of weeks untill it wears back off agian. IT's similar to mop and glo for but for wood flooring. It's not a substitute for refinishing by any means. Call a pro, see what the possiblities are for a maintence coat, it sounds like thats what you need to bring your floors back to almost like new.
