HI All! My engineered hardwood was installed this past week and in several areas it looks as if the short seam side was roughly cut and sanded. The contractor said the floor came that way. It is hand scraped Virginia Millworks Acacia. Anyone know if this is correct? Pics in the link. Thank you!

The contractor has the last look at the flooring before it is fastened down. If it is not acceptable, you need to take it up with that mechanic.
