Stephen, do you own one of those old Roberts trowel renotchers?

Don't cut so deep, and add some set to the teeth, and you will really see a difference in how your modified blade cuts.

Thought of getting one of those Perry, but never did. I didn't think they had small enough sized cutters for this anyway. That works good enough for me and those cut off wheels cost next to nothing,
