Has any one heard of Upofloor? Good? Bad?.....

Question with floating an engineered wood floor. My friend who installs floors recomends running the floor long under the kitchen cabinets before they are intalled. will this still allow for expansion and contraction. The next question is how important is an expansion joint on runs longer than 25'? my total lenght would be 36' parallel to installation and 40' vertical to installation. This floor will be over gypcrete new construction. floor is dry the heat has been running for a few months.

What does the manufacturer recommend?
They have final say in the matter.

With a floater, substrate flatness & expansion space is everything!

It is not a good idea, nor recommended, to put cabinets on a floating floor.
