which of these 2 systems is better:
1- glue together float with T&G or
2- locking glueless float.

One is really not better then the other in the grand scheme of things.

Glue together helps with joint sealing, but it isn't waterproof.

Glueless is easier for the DIY crowd, since no glue and no strap clamps are needed.
