I've gotten through the pine floor sanding and I've noticed the areas that were under a rug are a lighter shade than the surrounding area...... is more sanding required to blend or will this sort itself out in the finishing stage.... Any advice would be appreciated as always... I'm finishing with Waterlox... still discussing with my wife on the need to add a light stain to give the pine floor a redish tinge to match the oak cabinets...... (after all the sanding to remove the old stain on the floor I'm not too keen on putting stain back on!.... but she's the boss!)
Thanks again for the help..... Charles....I'm looking forward to putting on that third coat to see the transition you predicted...!!!
Regards
Doug
