In the process of installing a Wilsonart Duo-link AC3 laminate floor, we moved our clients stove(onto a section already installed)she cleaned the stove with fantastic, when we later moved the stove back in place we noticed the seams of the wood had expanded. Being a laminate, with non- glue lock system we were stunned. Any suggestions? We can't (or shouldn't have to) seal a laminate. My concern is, how is this client going to even fill the dishwasher without getting some water on it? Could this damage be from the fantastic? I've never had this problem before- ITS A LAMINATE!

cleaning agents swell seam edges. Like you said; it is a laminate. The high alkalinity degraded the edge sealant leaving the edge to swell.

I thought Wilsonart recommended a small bead of glue on the edges in areas of potential moisture. This is my problem with glueless laminates. The swelling seams were bad enough when we used to glue the stuff together. I thought the manufacterers would have addressed this concern!
