 Post subject: Floors need to be a little darker

We just installed hardwood in our kitchen and the stain we chose is still just a little lighter than the 70 year old hardwood in the rest of our house. Is there such a thing as tinted polyurethane and, if so, would it be possible to add one more coat of tinted poly to try to make it darker?

Yes, you can tint poly. Just becareful trying to be the chemist
