For Glitsa - how many coats do you recommend? 2 or 3 or ???

I learned on this board that higher number of coats does not necessarily mean better overall quality (am I correct?)???

Thank you,

Olga

Glitza is a finishing system. It usually calls for at least one coat of Baca sealer and a coat of Glitza. For this to be enough, the finisher would need to apply very heavy coats. Often, 2 coats of Baca sealer followed by one coat of Glitza is needed. You need to rely on the finisher/contractor to guide you in this. Anyone willing to do a Bacca-Glitza finishing system needs A LOT of experience with it. It is a tempermental finish to apply and ONLY for the most highly skilled and trained finishers who are used to using it.
