 Post subject: Gluing hardwood to linoleum floor.

What would be best to glue wooden flooring to linoleum ? I have some loctite premium construction adhesive? And some titebond tongue and groove glue.

The loctite will hold the flooring down if there is no wax or floor polish on the linoleum. You do want to use a glue that will hold, but still be flexible. You will be relying on the hold down strength of the linoleum to hold the flooring down, so assess this first.

The tongue and groove glue says its has some flex but i wonder if it would bond to the linoleum?

I think T&G glue is used to glue the board edges together for a floating floor. Is it white colored when wet?

Its kind of beige color like light tan.
