Can anyone provides some feedback about this copmany's products? I'm looking to install 500 sq ft on slab above grade in MA. I went to my local Floor America today. The sale person told me Karhs make the best product but are pricy. He told me to use Great Northern, similar quality at half the price. Is he correct or is he just being a saleman? Thanx

I sold and installed a large job of Great Northern a few months ago. The product was a bear to put down as every board was warped right out of the package. If you laid the board flat on the ground it would be sticking up 3 inches in the middle of the plank. we found it easiest to put in entire rows at once which you nee at least 2 people for preferably 3. Are you here in New England since the GN is a local company?

It was the wide plank Asian Jatoba. Not to turn this into a sales pitch, BUt if you want to contact me directly I am sure I can save you money over Flooring America. Go through my web page www.floorsanddecoronline.com. On the contact page you will find my #. I am right in Westborough.
