Hi guys, love the forum. We are in the process of putting our 3rd and final coat of original formula waterlox on our new Braz. Cherry floors. We thought we might just leave it at that but have decided we would like to finish it with a more durable layer of finish due to living on a farm. The floors look great and because we installed and finished them ourselves we would hate to screw it up at this point. We are looking for a easy to apply product that will work hand in hand with the waterlox to give us a real durable floor. Also it says that the final coat of waterlox should cure for at least 7 days-how long would we need to wait before applying the tough finish coating ?
Thanks.

I am wondering now if we should just see how the waterlox does. Braz. Cherry is so hard that maybe we wont have the problems I am anticipating.

Yes, the B. Cherry is harder than any finish. Living on a farm will take it's toll on the floors. My final coat would be the satin Waterlox, as it shows scratching less. You may need to apply maintenance coats more frequently but not much prep involved. Just a good cleaning and spots repairs are a snap.
