Do I have to sand in between poly coats

Just wanted to update everyone on my progress. I got the sealer on and then 1 coat of poly will be going back to house today to see how it looks. Hopefully all will be okay. I did get my poly from a local hardwood refinisher in town. But I guess I must have put on to heavy he said I should be able to get both coats on the floor but I used the whole gallon for just the first coat. I am doing around 700 sq

Actually, getting 700 feet per gallon is an acheivement I wish I could do. The normal (usual) spread rate is more like 550-600 feet per gallon for most oil-mod polys.
What product are you using?

The product is Lenmar semi gloss

Lenmar's suggested spread rate is 450-500 ft. per gallon, so you didn't spread it too thick. If anything, it may be too thin. But there are many factors involved in actual spread rates so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I will be putting a 2nd coat on today after sanding so I will watch for spots
