Help - Burn or Water Marks?
One of my Subs re-finished 10 yr. old Brazilian Oak floor (no stain, natural oil based finish). The floor developed dark marks near the plank seams that were not there after sanding the floor. Any idea what could have caused these marks or how to repair?

did the floor have gaps where the wood has turned dark? No pets, right?

The gaps were very small and yes they have dogs.

Some people call a pet stain a burn mark, but it is caused by chemicals.
