Hi, it just hit me. I was wondering if the handscraped look is refinishable???
Someone told me that if it was to be refinished at some point all the character scrapes/waves would be removed??? I am thinking that it would just stay relatively similar as the sanding would be done evenly I would assume??? Am I wrong?

I guess it depends on how extreme the refinishing is. If the floor is so worn that you have to use a floor sander to remove everything down to bare wood, then yes.

However, I assume you would keep the floor maintained by adding another clear coat when needed. A very light hand sanding is all that would be needed for this.
