Do anyone know the tips for installing hardwood flooring over carpet? Is it the right idea to do so?

Never install over carpet, you'd void any warranties right away and the installation will probably fail anyway... remove the carpet first and install over the plywood subfloor.

Its such a bad idea. never install hardwood or any flooring over carpet. if you want hardwood flooring then replace with carpet.
