 Post subject: Install Hardwood With These Crooked Walls?

Found some more pics. Hey, I'm not perfect either but this one was pretty bad. The wall itself is part of a mezzanine area that "parallels" a railing and overlooks a great room. Wish I had taken some pics of the starting area against the nosing--it was only six feet way from this crooked wall. and----well part of it had to be torn out so the nosing was straight--ran 20 lineal feet. Would have been fine if carpet was being installed but I recall saying to the super "Can't bend hardwood"

Bad enough having to scribe the flooring to fit! Wouldn't want to baseboard this wall. Can anyone say "caulking"? :wink:

what did they do to fix that ken?

I've run into that a few times... If its sheetrock, my undercut makes short work of it. Still have to "scribe" but margin of error is less.

Hi William, glad to see you got the bugs worked out...but I think you had more an email server problem than anything. I don't have a clue what happened there, but I know one thing for sure, the last piece was quite noticeable. Probably hid the area with some furniture.
