I am having a family member install a Bruce lock n fold floating floor in my living room. I was not there when it was started, but I don'y think the floor was properly prepped b4 he started. The living room is almost done and he's starting the hallway. When I walk on the floor there is a considerable dip in a few areas and almost the entire floor squeaks. The one thing I noticed is the padding he put down is upside down. I'm not sure if the padding would cause this but it also doesn't seem like a quality padding. I am horified that I might have to have the whole floor torn up and done all over again. I there anything that can be done

Can the flooring be disassembled and repairs made to the substrate? I'm not familiar with that lock n' fold stuff. I can assure it wasn't designed to make noises however. I suggest you get another person to install the flooring.

Floor preparation is most important to the success of any flooring installation.
Lift the floor and level/flatten is the best thing to do.. ... just like Gary asked.
