It's "old school". I could never get the hang of it, even though I've been finishing floors for over 25 yrs. Some are good at using it; most aren't. Today, many have opted for rolling poly with a quality roller, a Purdy White Dove 3/8" nap.

I've had alright success with it in the past. I'm worreid about hairs from the Purdy roller. Is that something i shuldn't worry about?

You can wash the roller first, then dry it. Also, pick up loose fibers on the roller with masking tape.

You'll get more hair from the lambs wool than the roller i'm sure of that!!!
