light or white?

either sweat/water spots...or uneven sanding/grain closure...

wood species will have a factor here as well.. you need to provide more details..

are the spots just that?/ little round spots?

are they whole areas that appear as if the satin looks lighter?

give wood species... dark or light stain?

etc
