There has been some confusion about putting links on pages lately. Let me be clear that links placed in the body of a post that is not relevant to the topic will be removed and any individual that constantly does this will be banned from the site.

For those that contribute their knowledge to the topics you are allowed to place the following in your signature only!!!!!

One line for a name, one line for link to your hardwood related site and one line for a location. There must not be any special formatting of the text or url. This will be strictly enforced.

Also note that if you appear to be posting just to get your links in a topic, your posts will be removed.

We appreciate all those that take the time to contribute and hope you will follow these guidelines.

Any question can be pm'd to me at the link under the message

I appreciate the info. I didnt mean any harm, and ofcoarse I'm new to this , and will abide by all the rules. Please let me know if I get off track again , I will make it a point not too ,( it would never be on purpose). I think this is an awesome site and forum, for all installers.

Howard

No Problem. It is an on going issue. It is much easier to maintain the site with your info in your signature. That way if you change your link or close your site it is easy to modify. Plus I check all links and it helps if they are in the signature.

Help on signatures can be found here.

To create your signature you go near the top right of the page and select "User Control Panel". The select Profile->Edit Signature.

I am sure how you can post a link in the sigature if you have been qualified for putting in your signature on your post yet. Please advise.
Thank you!

To qualify for a signature you need to have contributed to the board and it is subject to our judgment only. When that happens I can update your profile to allow signatures.

Thanx for your inquiry
