My living room floor done, in no small part due to what I learned here on hardwoodflooringtalk.com. You guys are the BEST.
New select and better Red Oak, picked up from the factory in Lebanon KY. 2" x 5/16" strips, all face nailed. I made this odd material selection to match the rest of the 1950's house. I'm using the good salvaged wood to patch the hall and bedrooms. I ripped out the old floor, installed, sanded, and finished it 100% myself.
Finished with three coats of Bona Traffic semi-gloss.
