In my area the big box stores only sell Bruce hardwood. Tried them in two rooms and have grown frustrated with the terrible milling and warped boards. Returned two boxes only to get just enough to finish. I have 3/4 of junk boxes left.
I visited a local dealer and they have Preverco hardwood floors. It’s a Canadian company. Has anyone used them before? Are there any brands that are recommended. Bruce floors look great, just frustrated with the amount of returns and shifting through boxes to find good boards.

I can speak to the Perverco material, as I'm in Toronto and use it every now and then.

I've never had any issues with milling or quality - its a Quebec product so the lead time is the main reason I don't use it more often. Satin Finish and Vintage/Mirage are my go to choice for Canadian material.

That said I didn't find Bruce to be so bad either, and have used it on a few sites. I guess it depends on the batch.

Thanks. For the info. I’ve known quite a few people in my area that used Bruce years ago. That is why I went with them. However after my last go round I’ve met more and more people who have had a ton of issues.
