Just finished one of these floors. Looks like Jatoba but smells like water buffalo poop when ripping it. Not exactly the same species me thinks. Mirage says it's from the Jatoba "family".

It's so dang hard it broke the pins in my meter once. Nice lloking stuff and was amazed that Mirage sent 7 different lengths in the long boxes. Milling was superb.

Anyone do any of this stuff?

Gotta love that "aroma". Ya, we do a lot of the product here in the Toronto market, mostly for wealthy American Lawyers with a Toronto residence in case they have to come up here for a week or two per year (lol).

Had a lot of that type of clientele when I had my store in Frazier Park CA. 6,000 ft. weekend "cabins".
