Can Bruce Northshore strip (3/8 engineered) be nailed down with a Porta-Nailer? I have the 3/8 shoe plate for the PN.

Bruce rates Northshore among its "best." Anyone have any experience with it?

Thanks.

Gluedown only as manufacturer specifies.

Nails don't work on engineered anyway. If it is capable of being fastened, they alway specify staples. Solid wood is much different then engineered.
