 Post subject: I Need Help with Final Finishing

I have a clarke 17 " buffer with sanding plate. Oak floor is down stained and 2 coats of poly. Finis has small bubbles and imperfections. What do I need for materials ie buffer pad, steel wool, or ? I have a 150 grit sanding screen but it seems a bit rough. I don't want to screw up my hard work. Thanks for any help Jeff

Your suppose to be abrading it between coats of finish, or you get adhesion and peeling. Might be why your getting "fish eyes"

Sweep, vacuum, and tack multiple times.


Gary & others have more finishing knowledge then I'll ever have, maybe they will chime in.
